I’M BURNING. Unkissed kisses

The exhibition presented visitors with a selection of the artist’s work from the past seven years and was linked to a poetry collection of the same name published in 2023.

The exhibition explored love, awareness and the expansion of the inner world through the language of abstract art. The artist’s works do not offer the viewer a single definitive interpretation or emotion, but rather create a space for personal experience or discovery. Abstraction allows everyone to see something different in the works – to reflect their own thoughts, feelings and memories.

Vibrant combinations of colours, dynamic forms and intuitive compositions came together to form a whole that invited contemplation of the complexity of human emotions, the transience of time and the fluidity of perception. The artist’s work combines traditional and contemporary painting techniques, creating a visual language in which the boundaries between the real and the imaginary blur, allowing the viewer to share in an experience that is both personal and universal.

The central message of the exhibition was love as an inner state and energy that is independent of external circumstances. According to the artist, love arises from self-acceptance, awareness and the courage to experience life in all its wholeness.

Toomas Pikhof has summarised the essence of the exhibition as follows: ‘Love comes from within you. Love does not mean possessing, needing, controlling, achieving or obtaining anything. You yourself and other people feel your love, because it is the energy that radiates from you. This energy is released through your emotional self-acceptance and your expanded awareness. Love is an experience of reality. Tears and pain empower love, and there is no need to fear them. If you seek to fill an inner emptiness from outside yourself, you will never feel fulfilled. Love is already within you, right now, just as you are. Fill yourself with love, and unspoken kisses will blaze as a real-life experience in burning love.”
