The flexible truth

When truth becomes open to negotiation, it is no longer a point of reference, but an argument. It becomes a tool that is adapted, interpreted and rephrased as required. Thus, the clarity of truth gradually begins to fade. Eventually, no one remembers what its original meaning was.
