The paintings form a distinct and cohesive whole, offering the viewer an emotional and sensory journey through theatrical experiences translated into abstract painting. These visually preserved moments carry the layered emotional intensity of psychological drama, historical storytelling, and tragic romance encountered on stage, emphasizing the role of theatre in shaping human emotional development.

All works in the collection are inspired by well-known and acclaimed stage productions. In earlier years, the artist worked for 15 years at Estonian Youth Theatre and Estonian Drama Theatre, participating in creative teams of new productions. Each season, the theatres produced 12–14 premieres. It was a vivid and inspiring period that left a lasting imprint on the artist.

For this reason, the collection is dedicated to directors, set designers, actors, and all those who work behind the scenes in theatre — the unseen contributors who make every performance possible.
